ARCH rental program (https://www.archhousing.org/rental-program) ensures an uncomfortable environment through unstable tenants resulting in regular police visits.
The Kirkland police have been here a couple times in my first two months. I keep their business card on my fridge. I was directly involved in one incident with my neighbor and was advised to file an anti-harrassment report with Redmond District Court.
I have had to call the police three times in five months. This neighbor is hostile and continuously confrontational claiming I owe him $10k dollars. Police have been here numerous times to talk with him. Calls about him have come from three differennt tenants that I know of, and there may be more. I have witnessed him harassing an individual over his patio fence who was just trying to visit the property. He was asking the individual if he worked here, said he never saw him before. Than asked if the individual thought he looked African. Said he was from Uganda. His tone was aggressive and the individual appeared uncomfortable with the uninvited interrogation. I have witnessed this individual pacing around the common areas when agitated, slamming the front door open and closed. He yelled at my sweet neighbor for no apparent reason other than he seems to hate dogs. Management has been unable to address this issue.
